Who we are
SlashResumex (slashresumex.slashmark.in) is a free resume builder operated by Slash Mark IT Solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. ("Slash Mark", "we", "us"). You can reach us by email at info@slashmark.in, on WhatsApp at +91 85008 25294 or through slashmark.in.
The short version
- There are no accounts. You never give us your name, email address or password.
- Your resumes are stored in your own browser on your own device. We cannot see them.
- PDFs are created in your browser. Files you check with the ATS checker are read in your browser and are not uploaded.
- We count page visits without cookies and without storing IP addresses.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal information, and we do not show advertising.
Your resumes and files
Everything you type into the editor is saved in your browser's storage (IndexedDB) on the device you are using. It is not sent to our servers or to anyone else. Because of this, your resumes are only available in that browser on that device, and clearing your browser data deletes them.
When you import a file (PDF, Word, JSON or a LinkedIn export), download a PDF or Word file, or check a PDF with the ATS checker, the work happens inside your browser. The file is not uploaded.
Backups you download are ordinary files on your device. Keep them somewhere safe: anyone with the file can read your resumes.
Information collected when you visit
Visit counts
To understand how many people use the site, we count page views. For each view we record only the page address (for example /ats-checker), the date, and the domain of the website that linked to it, if any. We do not use cookies for this, and we do not store your IP address, a device identifier or anything that could identify you. Visits from browsers with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turned on are not counted.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept only for as long as the provider needs them.
Fonts
The fonts used by the Classic and Modern templates are served from our own site. If you choose a different font in Design, your browser downloads it from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage is used to remember your resumes and preferences such as the light or dark theme, and the site keeps a copy of its own files (pages, code and fonts) in your browser so it works offline. You can clear this at any time from Data & privacy or your browser settings.
Your choices
- Delete a resume from your library, or delete everything from Data & privacy.
- Download a backup of all your resumes, and restore it on another device.
- Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser to stop your visits being counted.
Children
SlashResumex is meant for job seekers. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
